Our farm
The Schmidsagerer Hof lies in a sunny location at 1.182 m above sea level and has been run by the Kafmann family since 1995.
One family, one home
Our farm also includes a 9-hectare forest that borders directly on the farm's meadows. Our farm entrance is lined by a very large, ancient elm tree that stands under natural monument protection.
Margit looks after the garden with its various vegetables and herbs. Markus tends the meadows and forest and cares for our animals. You are also welcome to experience everyday farm life with us.

Markus looks after our Pustertaler Sprinzen, horses, the donkey, rabbits, ducks, quails, the rooster with his busy hens and the friendly cats. Our animals look forward to visitors big and small!
The Pustertaler Sprinzen
Our greatest joy are the Pustertaler Sprinzen – a rare cattle breed, also known as Pustertaler Schecken. Striking are the black or light-brown patches that cover large areas on the body and form smaller spots – the “Sprinzen” – along the edges.
