Hiking, cycling & relaxing
Our farm is the ideal starting point for easy and challenging hikes into the breathtaking mountain world of the Rosengarten (Catinaccio) and Latemar massifs. Bike tours start right at the front door, or you can hop on the cable car just 200 m away.
The Eggental around the Rosengarten and Latemar is one of the most beautiful hiking areas in the Dolomites: from a leisurely stroll along the emerald-green Lake Carezza to a high-alpine tour, everything is possible. Along the way, rustic alpine huts invite you to stop in and enjoy the typical South Tyrolean cuisine.
Active guests and families will find plenty to do in the mountain summer too: mountain bike and e-bike tours, via ferratas, themed adventure trails and a varied family programme make for wonderfully diverse days. The Carezza and Latemar cable cars take you comfortably up to the finest viewpoints high above the valley.

Skiing in the Carezza ski area
Enjoy the unique panorama while skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, tobogganing or hiking in the sunny Carezza ski area. On skis you can take the valley run comfortably right up to just before our farm.
Away from the ski slopes, too, the Eggental has plenty to offer: set out on wonderful winter or snowshoe hikes through snow-covered forests and enjoy the impressive mountain landscape as well as the cosy alpine huts with dreamlike views.
In winter – especially during Advent – the Eggental enchants with an atmospheric mood. Small, romantic Christmas markets, festive concerts and numerous events create unforgettable holiday moments and set the scene for a contemplative Christmas season.

Soothing warmth for those who love to unwind
Do you want to truly switch off on holiday? Then enjoy the soothing warmth of the wood-burning stove in our barrel sauna – a particularly rustic version of the Finnish sauna.
Recharge your batteries after a day of hiking or a ski tour. Open for you in summer too – sauna towels are ready and waiting!
